This Championship was created to help prepare our HSJGA members for Match Play tournaments such as the USA Hawaii-Japan Junior Cup and the USGA Girls and Boys Junior Championships. This tournament is by invitation only. Juniors will be invited based on their standing in the 2009 points list as of July 8, 2009.
Driving Range Hours:
6:00am-6:00pm

***This document supersedes the 2009 handbook as follows regarding the Match Play Championship:
Additional points will be awarded in the Girls 13-14, 15-18 and 13-18 Divisions only.
• With the combination of the Girls 13-14 and 15-18 Divisions in 2009 we will award “220 points” to all winners of round one but who fail to advance to round three in the Championship Flight only.
Clarification on page 28 Match Play: “70 points will be awarded for participating.” Clarifications follow:
• All age divisions
o Any player who does not advance in their first two matches will be awarded 70 points.
• Match Play Points
o Player of the Year points will be awarded for all age divisions including Girls 13-14, 15-18 and 13-18.
o Points will be awarded for players completing two matches. Any player failing to participate in two matches will receive “0” points.
o Byes
? Any player who draws a bye in any round will be awarded points for a win.
